This is a hybrid role, meaning you’ll spend part of your week working from home and part in our office in River North, Chicago, IL.
Job Description
As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will play an important role in supporting the people and culture at Puttshack. You will be working closely with the Directors, Regional Directors, and Managers at our venues to ensure that our associates have a positive experience and feel supported in their roles. Your job will involve helping with the associate life cycle, which includes everything from hiring to training to creating a fun and supportive workplace.
In this role, you will help build a People First culture, meaning you’ll always put the well-being of our employees at the top of the list. You will manage daily tasks related to associate relations, engagement, compliance, and reporting. You’ll also work with managers to improve working relationships and make sure our company culture remains strong.

What You Will Do
As a Human Resources Business Partner, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Managing Associate Relations
- You will work directly with managers and associates to improve relationships and create a happy work environment.
- You will provide advice and support on employee concerns, helping resolve any issues that come up.
2. Driving Employee Engagement
- You will help plan and implement engagement activities that make our workplace a great place to be.
- By listening to employees and offering support, you will help improve employee satisfaction.
3. Supporting the Associate Life Cycle
- From hiring new team members to helping them grow in their roles, you will be involved in every stage of the associate journey.
- This includes working with managers to ensure that all employees are trained well and have the resources they need to succeed.
4. Ensuring Compliance
- You will help make sure that all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations are followed.
- This includes making sure that the company maintains proper employee records and reporting systems.
5. Building a Strong Company Culture

What We Are Looking For
