We are looking for a Porter to join our team at our New York, NY location. As a Porter, you will play an important role in making sure the kitchen runs smoothly and that all dishes and kitchen tools are clean and ready to use. If you like working in a busy environment and enjoy helping others, this job could be a great fit for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Load, operate, and unload the dish machine safely and quickly.
• Clean the dish machine and sinks, and let us know if something’s broken.
• Wash and store kitchenware (like plates, cups, and utensils), baskets, and crates.
• Keep enough dish soap and cleaning supplies available for the kitchen.
• Label, replenish, and store chemicals in the right way.
• Put away deliveries or orders when they arrive.
• Keep refrigerators and freezers clean, organized, and in good condition.
• Make sure there are enough clean small kitchen tools, equipment, and supplies in the bakery and kitchen.
• Help with food preparation as needed, following the checklist and prep sheets.
• Complete opening and closing tasks, including following the cleaning checklist and finishing side work assignments.
